Sonaba

Sonaba is an industrial and residential district near Agadir's commercial port and fish processing facilities. The neighborhood takes its name from the former SONABA sardine canning factory. The port area remains active, handling fish catches, citrus exports, and general cargo.

Residential areas consist primarily of modest apartment blocks catering to port workers and lower-income households. The fish market near the port offers the freshest catches at wholesale prices.

For investors, Sonaba represents the entry level of the Agadir market. Prices per square meter are the lowest in the city, which can translate to attractive rental yields from the working population.
