The neighborhood features a mix of mid-rise apartment buildings from the 1970s and 80s alongside newer constructions. Local markets, bakeries, and small shops line the streets, giving it a village-like feel within the metropolis.

Bourgogne is popular with middle-class Moroccan families and first-time buyers. Property prices are more accessible than the upscale neighborhoods to the west.
