Al Amal

Al Amal is one of Oujda's newer residential districts south of the city center, developed from the 2000s onward. Modern apartment blocks with higher construction quality than older quarters feature better insulation, structured parking, and generous common areas.

Small supermarkets, bakeries, and cafes have followed the residential growth. Residents typically drive to the city center for major shopping. A mosque and several schools serve the community.

Al Amal appeals to returning diaspora members and young professionals establishing themselves in Morocco's eastern capital.
