Ville Nouvelle

The Ville Nouvelle of Oujda is the city's principal commercial and administrative district, built during the French Protectorate around Boulevard Mohammed V. This wide, tree-lined avenue hosts banks, government offices, hotels, and popular cafe terraces.

Architecturally, colonial-era buildings with decorative facades sit alongside newer apartment towers. The central market, several mosques, and the main post office are all within the district.

Real estate commands the highest prices in Oujda. The train station and bus terminal are accessible, and Oujda's Angads Airport is fifteen minutes by car.
